I had heard that all popcorn is not genetically modified (or is made from non genetically modified corn).  I have been buying organic popcorn, so can you tell me if this is true or not?  Do I need to buy organic popcorn if I do not wish to expose myself to genetically modified food.  If it is genetically modifed, can you tell me why it is not labeled as such?

There is no genetically modified popcorn (kernels) currently available for sale in domestic or international markets. Research and development of popcorn varieties derived from modern biotechnology could be available in the future.
